With eMarketer predictions stating that online advertising spend will reach $49billion by 2015, and with 26% of the UK market owning a smartphone, the mobile space is definitely an area of growth within the advertising market. This appointment and the expansion of the mobile division shows the commitment ValueClick Media has to being at the forefront of these market developments.
As head of the newly created mobile division, Tim will be responsible for overseeing the pipeline of business development for mobile opportunities, as well as being the primary source for expanding the mobile outreach with ValueClick Media’s current client base.
Prior to joining ValueClick Media, Tim held the position of commercial head at mobile advertising network, 4th Screen Advertising. As part of his role, Tim was responsible for developing new business opportunities within the Pan European market as well as being the primary point of contact with media buying agencies. Within this position Tim worked with such trading groups as Omnicom, Aegis, Mediabrands and Publicis.
As a member of the senior management team Tim will report directly to UK MD and head of trading, Richard Sharp.
